The 8th Arcadia Festival will focus on masterpieces of French music, Beethoven and music for the Harp.

The festival will again punch well above its weight and can boast a stellar array of internationally renowned instrumentalists. A special event at Aardvark Books involving both a world authority on French music and a lecture demonstration recital by one of the world's leading harpists is added to three concerts in the beautiful trio of churches at Leintwardine, Kingsland and Downton.

Featured will be signature works by Debussy, Ravel and Saint-Saëns as well as works by Beethoven and a chance to hear Eleanor Alberga's life-affirming first string quartet. The customary free, opening taster event will be at the Sun Inn, Leintwardine on the evening of Thursday 5th October.

Tickets are available from Ludlow Assembly Rooms box office: Single concerts £15 (lecture recital £10); two concerts £25; three concerts £35; three concerts and lecture recital £40.
