There have been several visits to the USA, where Paul has performed solo recitals both in Illinois and at Washington National Cathedral. In April 2016 he played one of the dedication concerts on the huge new Quimby organ in Fourth Church, Chicago.

For over two decades Paul has given monthly organ recitals in the Midlands. His series Sunday Afternoon Organ Music takes place at Holy Trinity Wordsley on the first Sunday of every month at 3pm. He can also regularly be heard at St Chad's Cathedral, Birmingham where he plays around half of the recitals in the Thursday Live series.

His début solo CD French Flavours was recorded at St Chad's Cathedral, Birmingham and has received critical acclaim, including a five-star rating in Choir & Organ magazine and Editor's Choice in Organists Review.

Paul works as a choral accompanist regularly accompanying visiting choirs in cathedrals. He works frequently with Birmingham Bach Choir and has toured with other choirs to Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic and the USA. Paul was organist for The City of Birmingham Choir's 2015 concert tour to Paris and 2017 tour to Vienna.

The organ in St Laurence's is one of the finest Parish Church organs in England. At its heart is the 19-stop 1764 organ by the Swiss maker John Snetzler. This was enlarged in the C19 by Gray and Davison to form the magnificent 4-manual instrument that we have today.
